BryantBystrov is currently hiring Canvassers and Organizers across New York City for the upcoming election cycle.
Job Description: Staffers will engage individually and as part of a team to complete every aspect of the political campaign process. Successful applicants will be goal-oriented and driven, charismatic, energetic, and passionate about politics. Staff should enjoy working with other people and the public and be willing to speak with everyone. Staff are required to strictly follow both our and the campaign’s goals, messaging, and safety protocols. Face-to-face contact is generally required to do this job, as is access to reliable transportation. Prior political experience is beneficial but not required. Drivers are needed, with additional compensation. Speakers of a second language, particularly Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, and Bangla are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: Staff will engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner. Aspects of the job include, but are not limited to: collecting petition signatures, door knocking, and phone banking to deliver critical information to voters, staffing campaign and community events as needed, and handing out flyers at predetermined locations. Organizers will manage teams of canvassers throughout their shifts as well as assist principals and directors as necessary, including canvasser trainings and administrative work.
